Tadashi Suzuki
7th Dan Aikikai // Funada Dojo + Udono Dojo of the Kishū Kumano Aikikai
Born in 1952 (72 years old), from Shingu City, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.
In 1969, Tadashi Suzuki joined the Aikido club at the Shingu High School in Wakayama prefecture.
In 1970, he entered the Aikido Kumano Juku Dojo, where he trained under Michio Hikitsuchi and Motomichi Anno Sensei, along with many other teachers and students. He received instruction that included stories and episodes directly related to the founder of Aikido.
As of 2025, Suzuki Sensei holds the rank of 7th Dan in Aikido and continues to train diligently at the Funada Dojo and Udono Dojo of the Kishū Kumano Aikikai.
In addition to Aikido, he has received Shodan (1st Dan) in Jodo and Sandan (3rd Dan) in Iaido, both certified by the All Japan Kendo Federation.
After graduating from vocational high school, he worked in the construction industry, involved in projects such as ports, land development, and road paving.
He currently works as a caregiver and transportation specialist, providing services for the elderly.
