Greer Murphy

Greer fell in love with Aikido when she relocated to the area, and joined Aikido Santa Cruz, in 2024. A “recovering striker,” she has previously trained in kickboxing (2008-2010), Kyokushin karate (2009-2024), Judo (2021-2023) and no-gi Brazilian jiu jitsu (2023-2024). So far, Greer has traveled to aikido seminars throughout the Bay Area, Lake Tahoe, and Oregon, hopes to be able to train in Japan one day, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to deepen her practice through assisting with the beginners’ series.
