About the Retreat

Join our 31st Annual Summer Retreat to deepen your Aikido practice and connect with a community from around the globe.

Held at the Civic Auditorium in downtown Santa Cruz, the retreat experience provides daily immersion in the physical and philosophical practices of Aikido, catalyzing deep learning and opportunities for personal growth. Take this opportunity to delve deeper into your training. Immerse yourself in a training atmosphere of sincerity, mutual respect, and joyful community inspired by the teachings of Aikido and its founder, Morihei Ueshiba O-Sensei.

5 days of classes with 8 instructors (weekend option available).
Dedicated classes for newer students, as well as black belts, senior black belts, and instructors.
Outdoor training and Misogi practice at the Ocean.
