Robert Summers
Robert Summers Sensei ⋙ Sandan (3rd degree black belt)
Robert Summers began training in 1998 at Aikido of San Jose with Jack Wada Sensei. He joined Aikido of Santa Cruz in 2010, training under Linda Holiday Sensei and Glen Kimoto Sensei. He taught online classes at ASC in 2020-21 with Glen Kimoto Sensei and Mark Zwagerman Sensei. Robert is currently teaching in-person classes at ASC with Glen Kimoto Sensei. He is inspired by his teachers Linda Holiday Sensei and Glen Kimoto Sensei, as well as Motomichi Anno Sensei, Jack Wada Sensei, Mary Heiny Sensei and others.
Robert works as a software developer. He is an actor and also enjoys guitar, astronomy and magic.
