Fernando Sanchez
Fernando Sanchez, 4th dan, began his practice of Aikido in 1997. He is the chief instructor of Michi Dojo Brazil - founded as a small Aikido group in 1998, in Sao Jose dos Campos, near Sao Paulo, Brazil. Fernando began training Martial Arts in 1970 (Judo, Capoeira, Nei Kung, Iaido, Aikido and Tai Chi).
Parallel to his work he has been dedicating himself to Philosophy since 1986 and researching the cultural, philosophical and spiritual aspects of the Martial Arts. As a philosopher, he has given courses and lectures about Eastern and Western traditions in many Brazilian cities.
Since 2014 Fernando has been working exclusively with his Dojo, also teaching Aikido for Kids and Tai Chi. In 2020 he became a member of the California Aikido Association.
