COVID-19 Health and Safety Policy
We have updated our COVID-19 health and safety policy as of January 2023. We continue to require proof of the basic Covid vaccinations for adults, teens, and children.
We highly recommend — but no longer require — booster shots, for maximum personal protection against severe Covid-19 disease, hospitalization, or death.
These new standards are effective January 1, 2023. We will continue to modify and adapt our policies as the pandemic evolves, and as the information, needs, and standards of our community evolve along with it.
Ventilation
Our Dojo building is spacious and extremely well-ventilated. Multiple doors and windows are open, with multiple fans in operation, generating excellent air flow and numerous air-changes each hour.
Standards of Vaccination
All Adults (age 18+), Teens (ages 13-17), and Children (ages 6-12) must submit proof of full vaccination, uploaded online, prior to training or observing classes in the Dojo.
Everyone in the Dojo must be fully vaccinated.
When am I considered fully vaccinated?
2 weeks after your second dose in a 2-dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.
2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
Booster shots are highly recommended (but not required) for all who are eligible, for maximum personal protection against the possibility of severe disease, hospitalization, or death from Covid-19, as recommended by the CDC.
We no longer have a negative Covid test requirement.
Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 should isolate and follow public health recommendations.
If you test positive for COVID-19, please notify us immediately so that we can take the appropriate safety measures. Your identity will be kept confidential and will not be shared beyond Dojo staff.
Thank you for being a part of our Dojo and for helping to support the health and wellbeing of our community. If you have any questions regarding these changes, please don't hesitate to reach out.
