Christa Nopper
Christa Nopper Sensei (4th Dan Aikikai) started practicing Aikido in 1997. Her teacher is John Emmerson Sensei, who is a direct student of André Nocquet Sensei. She has been directing a dojo within John Emmerson's Aikido organization (DAN-Dynamic Aikido Nocquet) in Denzlingen (near Freiburg, Germany) since 2003.
Since 2006 she has also been practicing Toho Iai, a form of Iaido developed by Shoji Nishio Sensei. She met Linda Holiday Sensei and Motomichi Anno Sensei at the Summer Retreat 2012 in Santa Cruz. Since then she has visited Anno Sensei in Shingu twice. These trips to the roots of Aikido were very inspiring for her further development.
