Welcome to the website of North Bay Aikido in Santa Cruz, California.
North Bay Aikido is a non-profit, public benefit, educational
organization. We welcome people of any race, nationality,
ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.
Our Chief Instructor is Linda Holiday Sensei (5th Dan).
North Bay Aikido has been providing Aikido instruction in Santa
Cruz since 1982. Please note that our dojo is at a new
location at 306 Mission St. in Santa Cruz.
Our instructors
have developed a highly respected program of Aikido training for adults and children.
As Aikido draws on inner strength rather than physical strength, it is
accessible to people of all ages and body types. Women and men
train in equal numbers in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support.
The Santa Cruz Aikido Summer Retreat 1998 will take place at UCSC
from July 15-19, with confirmed Senseis Mary Heiny, Linda Holiday,
Joanne Veneziano, Kimberley Richardson, and Denise Barry. More
